Eric: Downswing possibilities
I didn't take statistics yet. I'm wondering if you know your average edge for blackjack and average bet what is the biggest downswing you can have in top bets from zero or breakeven? What about if you add a hand? Some say play with 50 top bets. Some ive heard say play with 100.

If you would be kind enough to furnish your exact betting scheme along with the rules of the games you're playing, I'll get back to you with numbers.

Hi,
I go and play 5 dollar six deck...rules are dealer hits soft 17. You can double any first two cards and split any up to four times. You can double after split except aces. One card after splitting aces. You can take insurance if its high enough. I will play 10 dollar late surrender, other rules are the same. I backcount unless im the only one there at. I will also backcount the four deck 15-200 limit. My spread is I backcount until true count of three or two at surrender tables and bet 100 two hands. Im wondering about variance for one hand as well. It seems everyone plays so conservative. You cant make much if you play so conservative unless you put in a lot of hours.
I keep running into different basic strategy changes, which ones are good for these games?
My friend plays the 2 deck game with 75% penetration. No double after split. Other rules the same. 25 min.- 200 max, is this beatable?
