Are those new episodes? Over the last time, I can't tell how many times they have showed reruns on the original casino diaries.

its that episode when that jerk host from the paris degrades his high roller customers.he says all kinds of negative things about the high roller behind his back and to the camera.im sure he lost his job.it put the paris in a very bad light.

Not sure Robert. I don't recall having seen them myself, but I do know how old some of the previous re-runs have been. Thus my caveat of "maybe". I'll give it a click or two before moving on.

Advantage Jack: Is it the same as the one showing

    Larry Flynt?

I remember I saw him playing with a million dollar purse on TV several months ago. I don't remember which channel it was on, but, if I remember correctly, he lost a half million dollars in the first casino (was it Hilton LV?), but he recouped a lot more than that in the second one (MGM?).

Just another silly LV show. The guy that gave the comped room to the young couple playing BJ at the Lady Luck looks like the guy that gave me the boot from there a few years ago.

    Neither of these are new.

I had seen this one several times. This is the one showing some jerk named Anthony taking care of some high rollers. I didn't understand just what Anthony does that any casino host couldn't do. Also, these people didn't exactly fit my definition of high rollers, with their average bets being only a couple hundred dollars per hand. This isn't really big action, not for a joint like Paris.

How come I never meet women like Denise - rich, beautiful, and rides a Harley. (Yeah, I know - probably because I hang out in downtown dives and not in places like the high limit room at Paris).

I hadn't seen this one before, although I don't think it is new. It could have been titled "The Max Rubin Informercial." Max got a lot of airtime, explaining the comp system and subtly plugging his book, Comp City. We also got to see Max's house (very nice). We even got to see Max lose $1300 playing blackjack. (I can relate.)

We then watched three groups of aspiring comp hustlers applying Max's techniques at the Orleans, the Fiesta, and Lady Luck, an interesting choice of casinos, to say the least. I have to admit that the high roller suite at Lady Luck was nicer than I expected.

The segment also covered a struggling lounge singer and a talent agent.

    big nguyen: Comment

My favorite part was laughing at the so-called "high roller" playing BJ heads up with his girl friend (hooker?) sitting to his right watching. He made lame comment after lame comment.

Brilliant stuff such as "timing is everything in life". Wasn't sure if he was trying to impress the girl, the dealer, or the cameraman, with his witty repartee, but I think he failed regardless.
