John Smith: Continuous Shuffling Machines?
Is there any strategy that would beat casinos using continuously shuffling machnines, for example Shuffle Star?

Parker: Question regarding your question

If someone had knowledge of such a strategy, do you think it would be wise for them to discuss it on an open, public message board?

One strategy would be, when the dealer isn't looking, sneak a few chips out of the tray.
This strategy is applicable to many games, but it has a very, very high risk of ruin.

If is based on math, why not ?

Viktor Nacht: Short Answer: No. Long Answer...
With intimate knowledge of the model-in-question's internal machanism and the machine's current settings, you could attempt to beat the machine by taking advantage of any latency in returning the played cards into the shuffled section of the machine, or take advantage of any non-random attributes of the shuffle method.
There are instances of early models being beaten (massacred, more accurately), and persistent rumors of recent scores here and there. But as Parker said, if anyone has the inside track on out-dated beatable models or ways of beating current ones, they ain't talkin'.
Also, playing CSMs just enourages the casinos to keep them in use. Don't do that.
Good Cards,

Yes, there is.
But I would be an idiot to tell you about it on a public forum.
Get out a pencil and (lots of) paper and work it out for yourself, just as I had to do.
