John Auston: Using BJRM2002 to Plan Your Trip to the Casino
Some of you may know that Don recently completed a short trip to Las Vegas. Before he left, he told me he had used BJRM 2002 to help him prepare, and to set expectations, and that the software proved to be very helpful.
That got me thinking that some of you might to see an example of the sort of things he did. So, with Don's permission, I will use the occasion and details of his recent trip to demonstrate some the useful things BJRM can do.
The demonstration contains a number of screen shots, so rather than try to put them in this post, I've created a link, below, where you can go to view it all as a Web Page.
Please do so, and then come back to this thread to post your questions and comments.
Thanks! Hope you like it.

Buick Riviera: Excellent
John, you've done it again.
The "Don's Trip" is an excellent tutorial on the usefulness (and how to use) BJRM. I found it more instructive than the User's Manual and suggest you create additional tutorials to demonstrate other features of BJRM.
I've had BJRM for a couple years and picked up a couple of more tips just from this one demonstration.
Good job.

I'll do that. Thanks.

Nice to hear from you. However brief. :-)

The demo looked great. Are the required sims to do the same calculations using KO included with BJRM2002? If not, does one need SBA or when do anticipate having the sims for KO available. Thanks.

I could have done the demo with KO. There is a KO 6 deck S17 DAS LS 4.5 of 6 sim in the base product.

Zdriver: Residual trip bank question
That is an impressive piece of work!
What happens, though, when you take damage and are left with only a small part of your trip bank at the end of a shoe, but haven't quite tapped out? I won't normally start a new shoe unless I can reasonably expect to play out that shoe. Does the program assume you'll still play on?
Can the program be set to a 1 shoe 'trip'? That would be useful!
Respectfully,
-Zdriver
