The Rookie: Re: LV/Blackbelt in Blackjack

Great thread. Really a good education for me. Let me know if there are any places you recommend for me Downtown.
    Thanks,

Sure, try looking around Downtown. You're bound to find a lot of mediocre games but, since there are so many, you'll no doubt find a few good ones too.

    Don-
After consideration of the content in the messages in the threads, what exactly would you recommend I do? I have a humble $2000 or so to lose in Vegas and will be there for 5 days. BTW, I am currently trying to cram the Zen Count per 98%'s advice, and I am looking for Windows NT 4.0 compatible software to help my practice. Any advice?

CV for the software. It sims, it is a practice program, it slices and dices....If you are on a more modest budget consider 678.

Grab every coupon you can and be sure to keep an out of state ID as long as you can. Stay with games with the highest SCORES and lowest long run indexes. And listen to 98% especialy. He knows his stuff on scouting outside the usual lists of good games. You are in the growth phase of your playing, and it can be important to add as much firepower to your counting system as you can handle. Practice, practice, practice. And do sims and practice some more.
