I don't have info on the Venetian specifically, but click on the link below for the new site of a friend and statistician extraordinaire, Michael Shackleford (known as The Wizard of Odds), who has just returned from a stay in Macau. It has a lot of tourist-y info, but there is a section on the games and what the rules are, so if you go to the site, select "Games," and then "Blackjack," or whatever else interests you. He returned to the States before Venetian opened, so that isn't listed, but he has the rules for other casinos, organized by the company that owns the casino.

Christopher: American's casinos vs Stanley Ho's casinos
Congrats on your HK$0.9 million winnings in Taipa. BJT, how do you compare the American's casinos in Taipa vs Stanley Ho's casinos in Macau? Stanley probably "loses face" big time right now, right?

BJTr: Re: American's casinos vs Stanley Ho's casinos
Stanley Ho lost lots faces facing new competition... losing market shares though giving higher rebates. Chinese are still far behind in service industry than Americans.

Christopher: Weekly Columns?

BJT, thanks for your reply. I like to read your weekly columns on a Macau Newspapers. Will you please provide a direct link to the columns? Thanks in advance.

BJTr: Re: Weekly Columns?
The newspaper is Shih-Ming Daily at Macau... My columns are for Monday and Tuesday. I don't know how to access the newspaper website. The newspaper guy posted my column at a gambling website regularly but I don't know how to access that website... can't type Chinese... You can try finding old articles googling my Chinese pen-name and look through the contents. I am also starting a column at HK Magazine since September, Shun-Shih, also owned by Stanley Ho, like the newspaper...: )

Christopher: Nice columns about Ace sequencing & TNT
BJT, thanks for the actual link to the Macau City Resident Newspapers. I enjoy reading some of your columns, especially your 9/17/07~9/25/07's columns about ace sequencing and TNT. Hey I did not see your current columns for the period of 10/1/07~10/2/07. It seemed another columnist took over your spot. Did you get fired already for making almost HK$1,000,000 from the new Macau casinos? I hope NOT!
Regards
Christopher
