    gambler: Newest tracking technology(Basel)

Go on www.casinos.ch. Then on the left side on
"news and presse" and pick up the news from 05/11/03 about the new casino opening in Basel(airport)(switzerland).
In the photo gallery, you can see, how they track roulette players including photos and betsize.
You can also see the "one to six" shuffler at the BJ tables.

    Dog Hand: English Language Translation

As a service to our English language friends, below is a link to a reasonably translated version of the website. The only catch is that all of the text runs horizontally instead of vertically... oh, well, it is worth every cent I paid to have the translation done!

I am looking at this site. I called today to ask whether they had a regular blackjack game or if they used the komisch cheating machines and was told that all casinos in Switzerland use such machines. I explained that I am organizing a trip for 30 people (which is true and they are all bad ploppies) and I dont appreciate his dishonesty since the casino in Montreux does not use the machines and that we will be taking our business there.

Look down two pictures from the roulette surveillance, though, and you will see that there is a BJ table without a cheating machine. But then the picture below it has one!

The machine in that picture does not look like the one2six, though, unless it is an updated version.

Has anybody actually played there to confirm the status?

Are they charging an admission fee like the rest of the crap casinos in Switzerland (excluding Montreux which is really a good casino).

Shadow: Yes, it is a CSM

Yes, it is a CSM. They look different to the US products as they were build from an austrian company.

I think the picture with the shoe is just promotional. Same with Lucerne - they had shoes on their opening event (which was exclusively for the press) but removed them and put up the machines on the official opening.

It is not only a CSM, it is the "one2six" shuffler which might be an updated one or the newest model. These and the austrian one, they use in the Netherlands for example at all of their tables.

Not all the Casinos in CH realy have continouse shufflers. Most of the casinos anyway have, but also most of them do not have spare-machines. These machines costs enourmouse ammounts of money all this "young" casinos couldn't or didn't want to invest even more money for spare-machines.

This IS a one2six shuffler which these days is the most efficient and absolutly not beatable thing in the blackjack-world. Don't even try it!

    > Has anybody actually played there to confirm

I can confirm: They have shufflers in Basel, Baden, Bern, Lucerne, Pfaeffikon, Schaffhausen, St. Gallen. If you are lucky, you might hit a table without shuffler for one, two or maybe tree days.

    > Are they charging an admission fee like the

Yes Basel does like most of the Swiss casinos do. As far as I know they for sure don't in Pfaeffikon, Schaffhausen, St. Gallen an all the small Casinos in the mountain - areas

I don't agree that these casinos are crap. Much more there are many very good casinos and top staff. One can get allot of heat and troubles there if one doesn't take as much care as everywhere on the world. Only one might not come out of the coolrooms with broken fingers...

In therms of makeing better or easyer money than in other places on eart, it might be right: They are crap.
