Some times when Im solo I just wong out, wong in/back counting takes its toll after a while.More mentally for me then physical.
I have wonged in, out, and both with DD games. You can do it. Your session will naturally be short because you'll start pissing everyone off. I've had a dealer change the rules on me to NMSE and that was my cue to call it a day. But if you find a good game, the extra power of wonging on DD can give you some very nice EV. Short sessions with high EV is much better than a slog with lower EV (unless maybe you're comparing to something relatively risk free).
Yeah, that won't draw heat.
Seriously, how feasible is backbetting anyway? I can see how it would be advantageous if your backbetting a partner (fellow AP) if the casino will tolerate it. But in the case of a random player you would need to know the person playing the hand either knows perfect BS or is open to your suggestions about the play of the hand. And BS won't always be enough if they're not open to suggestion. It seems pretty risky to me, and just as obvious as backcounting most of the time.
I have had backbetting with randoms work both ways. In one case I built rapport with someone at the table and they thought I was really cool. He consulted with me on every strategy decision and did his part well. I was probably exciting for him to play black under his red/green without the worry of losing.
On the other hand there was someone else with a $100 MP who went bust before playing their coupon so we were going to partner up on that. I tell this guy exactly how to play it and instead puts a small chip on the MP and the remainder on a sucker bet despite all my objections.
