    Nice to meet you all.

Just wanted to say Hi and introduce myself.
Spent some time on the other side of the table in the city where sand turns to gold lol.
I know the game and most of the math and due to a recent accident i find my future somewhat questionable career wise.I truly feel with hardwork and lots of practice this is a beatable game i've seen it done.
I'm just starting this new adventure so i'm reading the books ordered the software and set up a practice table fully loaded lol.i decided on Hi-Lo it just seems natural to me however there are some things that are totally new to me being on this side of the table but i'm learning and any advice you guys can give would be very helpful.

    Thanks

something you might find interesting at the store i worked and this was about 10 years ago we never ever worried about counters or was ever trained to spot one. we knew that no matter how much a player won at anytime other players are losing more at different tables.
only once that i remember on a july4th weekend we were told there may have been a team in town and look for anyone spotting our table and trying a mid-shoe entry that was it the only words i ever heard about ap's.

It's always a mystery to me what the other side of the table is thinking. So I love to hear stories from the other side. Did you mention your experiences were from 10 years ago or they were in fact recent? Do pit bosses now generally keep conversations among themselves (and with higher-rank people) about identifying AP's, because it's considered their job instead of the dealers', or do they effectively work with the dealers on the job (i.e., identifying AP's)?

It's just a game if more people realized that we would have alot more fun!
yes 10 years ago and the suits and the eis handle the ap's they don't want the dealers to worry about that in the house i worked at anyway.other casino's would sweat black on the table if onlty one chip was in play lol. It's different at every house

Welcome Nj! We have other posters from your former side of the table, still active, whose views I value and respect, even though they aren't always 100% supportive. I cling to a vision (ok, maybe a fantasy) that both sides can co-exist, but job practices and narrow thinking makes synergies elusive. I'm looking forward to your views and stories.
