some of those places report to OSN
Smallcap's post is spot on. I went to Vegas with a team once, and almost everyone had been backed off at multiple places with their real names playing those $25-50 DD games within a few days. Well, one guy didn't get backed off anywhere, because he's so good...
Vegas double deck is also the quickest way to get into Griffin, OSN and other books. If you play unrated, it isn't nearly as bad (your grainy picture goes into a binder with thousands of pictures).

Thank you everyone for all your advices. I really appreciate it. I'll go ahead and play lower table minimums. I do have one more question. Some of you have mentioned its really hard to get heat form low minimum games. So if I spread 2 or 3 hands deep in the deck at say a 3+ count would I still be okay?
I am in a similar spot, will be going to Mecca in the next few weeks and seriously need some advice other than "don't go". LOL. I have posted another thread and appreciate input. I will be focusing on the lower limit tables, mostly a red chippie but still want to hit the best possible situations. If you have advice, experience, inside info, tips, pointers, tricks, or will be in the area around spring break, PM me please!

If you play the $5 min table with $50 into 3 digit bets then you will stick out like a soar thumb and attract attention. On the other hand the $50 tables are always being watched at least somewhat. I still got to agree with the guy that said to just red chip it this trip or maybe try bigger bets the last day just before you leave. Hard to perfect your skills at home so take it easy at the casino. Save your bankroll for another day. Unless your in your 90's you have plenty of time for more blackjack.
I played long sessions in some of these dd games with basically no heat...oddly enough I think the closest I came to a backoff was at a 8 deck h17 game! My spread was nothing amazingly large but would get the money. Spreading to two hands is not something I would do unless you are leaving right after.
I was in some good spots though (gray action in adjacent pit etc).

I read somewhere that they went bankrupt and are now out of business. I just registered w/ this forum. I plan to go to vegas for 3 weeks mid January of next year. Please advise where is the best place[s] to get experience w/ game play. Am new to the game and have studied for several months now.
