    Heat during WSOP

    QUESTION TO ALL.
Generally speaking, is the heat at blackjack tables in Vegas higher during WSOP events?
I assume it would be, but I have no idea.

I don't know, either, but I would think not. Most poker players (even at the top) aren't APs, but compulsive gamblers who just happen to be good poker players.

I seriously doubt it. If anything, surveillance may stretched thinner due to the subsequent influx of excited players at the casino, just like it is during major holidays.

Sweaty shops will generally continue to be sweaty shops, despite events in/around the selected casino. Sure, there may be some minor variations in how fast you get heat, you could flex some different plays or timing here/there, but as you asked, "generally speaking," I haven't found events to make much difference.

Where they do make a difference is where you have the ability to use it to your benefit for comportment, alter personas, etc the things that are different than heat itself.
You don't score, until you SCORE!
