I hesitated to write about this topic because I knew it would generate some kind of debate. I want to clarify something just in case: I didn't say that online casinos are cheating, regardless of whether it benefits them or not. I said that they could cheat and that it would be difficult to detect. It's true that the games are already designed in their favor, but... let's suppose that the initial house edge with 8 decks is 43.25%. If they simply remove one ace from each shoe, the advantage could increase to 50.39% without making any rule changes. By removing just one ten, the advantage would increase to 49.25%. A basic strategy player could go in confidently thinking that their disadvantage is 43.25% when it's actually higher. But this is just an example. Detecting the exact average of tens or aces when only one is missing would be difficult, although not impossible.

Sincerely,
Cac
