I recently researched this one2six machine. The casino music was just too loud for a player to hear any sound from this machine. When six players were playing, the average number of cards that have been played and then collected to the bank was about 40, and it takes about one second to feed each card back into the spinning roller. Based on these numbers, we find it seems unlikely to gain an edge from card counting with only these 40 cards. However, when the environment is quiet, there is definitely a rhythm from this machine for players to explore.
I just read the OP, because, honestly some people who reply here don't have a clue.
There was a time (at least a decade ago) when "listening" to the CSM was possible and was used to beat the machines. The preferred game was Casino War, though other games may also have been vulnerable. If the team happened to find very old CSM's, this could very well be what is going down -- you could definitely track specific cards through the machine. My sense is that another thing to look for (if this is overseas) is a "split for less" team. This is very popular right now in certain Asian locations.

Knowing what surveillance knows (or what they think they know), can be key in beating the game.
Here in Macau they waste little time on a proper investigation. It is very simple. A player that
A) plays a wide spread.
B) plays at least 99% basic strategy.
C) wins.
D) is known to be an AP.
If 3 out of 4 have been confirmed, he (or she) will be banned, instead of what these fvckers should do, which is contact SG Gaming and ask them how come certain players can win?!
P.S. I never gave casinos that golden advice.
BINGO!
It is in the interest of table games, security, surveillance and last but not least the legal team that there is such a thing as advantage play(ers) in order for them to keep their jobs. So who do these guys rip off the most: The owners/shareholders! Not that I have any sympathy for them either, but what it all tells you is that the money that is being made through AP (especially in Macau) is far less than what is needed to avoid it.
