The problem with ST when play zones (the zones you know have good cards) are very small is that the dealer may end up drawing cards past the play zone. Actually, this is a problem with any size play zone -- but happens far more often in a small zone. If you have a high count in the play zone, the cards outside of the zone will have a count of the opposite sign. Kind of screws up counting theory when the dealer hand may contain cards from high and low counts at the same time. One of the dangers of ST.
