Might be headed to Wendover in a few days, wondered if anyone can provide info. Info such as what games are offered there, best places to play, stay etc.
Zee, its a great place to visit. There are 5 casinos in town and 3 of them are owned by the Peppermill Co. I rank the casinos as follows. The best is the Rainbow, then Montego Bay, then Peppermill, then Nugget, and last Red Garter. Rooms are very cheap on weekday and easy to get comped. Almost all games are single deck with 0.29% house edge. Rooms are cheaper at Rainbow than Montego Bay, but I have stayed at all 3 main casinos one time or another.
The last time I was there, was in the fall of 2019. Keep an eye out for Jackie Price.

Got backed off the first time I played in Wendover. Played unrated. Played 4 hours at Montego Bay. Then after 1 hour at Rainbow I got the tap from the man himself. He said, "I know what you're doing, I know your tricks, including going to the bathroom during heads-up games that start off negative." He told the security chief that he didn't have my ID and to take me into the back room to get my name. I told him I wasn't going into the back room and I wasn't giving up my name, but I encouraged him to try to force me so I could sue him. He declined and I left. I was spreading all of $25-75. Wendover is a nice place for white trash to have a little fun.
Zee, one more thing. On weekdays Wendover is really dead, but on weekends the place is packed and all the tables are open. In normal conditions most of the folks that are there on weekdays arrive by their chartered flight program. However, those flights have been canceled due to the covid. I imagine Wendover will really be dead on weekdays now.
