“the answer my friend, is blowin' in the wind - the answer is blowin' in the wind”. The exact connotation that Mr. Zimmerman intended. Sports betting, lol.
It's been my experience that every promo FanDuel has ever run for NJ has always involved free bets and never a cash-out option. It would shock me to learn that you can simply sign up for two new accounts, bet $5 on each side, and then simply withdraw your $275 the next morning. I've never seen them just give away free cash like this ... ever. But I understand that this time may be an exception.

This is a no-brainer odds boost to take advantage of, and all you have to do is pick the winner of the Super Bowl to win big.
Download the FanDuel mobile betting app and create your account. The process should take under 10 minutes to complete. ONce your account is created, deposit a minimum of $10 into your account to be eligible for the 55/1 Super Bowl moneyline odds. The offer is only available in the app, so make sure you download it for your Android or IOS device. When you click on the Super Bowl odds, the 55/1 (+5500) will replace the original odds.

As I was saying.

Where are you seeing that language Don? Here is what I am seeing on the Terms and Conditions:
5. Claiming Promotion OfferIn the event your Eligible Wager wins, you will receive a cash payout equal to +5500 odds on the first five dollar ($5) of that outright wager (“Promotion Bonus”). Any winning Eligible Wagers over five dollars ($5) will be paid out in cash at market odds, as if you had bet on one of the eligible teams to win their matchup in the common market, excluding the first five dollars ($5) of such Eligible Wager. Maximum Promotion Bonus of Two Hundred and Twenty Five Dollars ($225). Promotion Bonus recipients will be solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes, and for any other fees or costs associated with the Promotion Bonus received, regardless of whether the Promotion Bonus, in whole or in part, is used. The Promotion Bonus value may be reported for tax purposes as required by law.
I would be very surprised if this is not a cash payout.
Edit: This language applies at a minimum to the states of NJ and Virginia.
One site I read said that the offer had been used 234,000 times already. My guess is that, by game time, that could easily double. So, let's go with the possibility that there will be 250,000 WINNING wagers. Are they really simply going to give away almost $69 million in free cash today? If so, more power to them.

[QUOTE=DSchles;295610]I don't get that reference either.
As to your quote about FanDuel paying out $69M, it does seem pretty crazy. With that said, companies like Lyft and Uber having been giving away billions of dollars in free and reduced price rides over the last 8 years or so. I wouldn't be surprised if VC funds are massively capitalizing these digital sportsbooks in order to gain market share.
In TN, three times since Nov, they’ve run an infinitely increasing spread promo, which increased the spread by +1 for every 500 people that bet it. All three times, it increased the spread by +80 to +100. The +100 increase would take 50,000 bettors at what turned out to be a guaranteed payout of $45.45 each (50 max at -110). So, three times they were ok with giving away over $2 million each time. Wonder how much of that they’ve gotten back since? Kind of like the casino I was at Friday night that gave away $14,000 in free play (not cash ) in 2 hours. Probably got half of that back an hour later.
