They do; it's called 6:5 blackjack! The difference is that the Vegas players are too stupid to realize the cost.

And OK does not charge an ante everywhere or all the time. Many here are doing temp checks, social distancing, limiting numbers of players at tables, splashgards/faceguards; disinfecting between play, etc. What else do you want them to do?

Maybe casinos will offer free Vaccinations to Zplayers Card holders, huh!

As regards Oklahoma, if casinos are doing fine while charging an ante to play Blackjack, how long before Las Vegas starts requiring an ante?
Zee you mentioned you withdrew $15,000 from your bankroll for this trip. I sure hope you didn't spend $15,000 for a 5 day trip with no blackjack play. How much did this trip cost you? Any out of the ordinary expenses?

I haven’t yet got the exact amount but I suspect I spent only about $$175-200 a day. Hotels (via priceline) cost me about $50 a night, used up about 100 gallons of fuel at about $3 per gallon, so $60 a day, about $75 a day in meals and miscellaneous stuff. Maybe $1000 for the trip. Before departure, I spent $75 on an oil and basic maintenance.

Be careful out there, Zee! I've canceled visiting anyone at all or receiving visitors, including relatives, for nearly a year now, and avoid leaving my secure compound for any reason. Luckily, I have all the amenities, and if anyone carrying any Covid cooties tries to come over a fence someplace, they are eaten by a small army of guard dogs. I want getting whacked with a little bit of snow the only adversity you contend with being out in that shit right now. The surge in cases is peaking out to be worse than ever, record levels. Safe travels.

Thanks. I thought there was more risk at home as spouse works at dental office, shops, hangs out with friends. I got an 18 year old in first year of college, goes to classes, gym, his part time job at Olive Garden.

Travelling alone, driving through fast food joints, quick trips into gas stations to use the johns with mask on is probably safer.
