Others have dealt with the bet spread, but the line I quoted makes me think you may have another issue. If you are using a balanced count, and your brain is getting tired, try using an unbalanced count (e.g. ReKO). If you find yourself getting bored and distracted - come back to us with more info about your game, and playing conditions.
