It's a playing strategy found in the playing strategies when you create your own sim. It is not a canned sim.
I wrote to Colin, and he was kind enough to send me his strategy chart and explanations for deviations. In fact, for 16 vs. T, it clearly states to "STAND at any positive count." Note that it doesn't say TRUE count. In the box, we see 0+. The problem, however, is that his implication is to HIT if the RC is exactly zero, and that's wrong. The play is very close, and it really doesn't matter what you do, but may as well get it right.
So, when ohjasper stated, above, "but the index in the strategies is to hit at any positive true count," that simply is incorrect.

I have previously spoken to a Colin disciple. Seems to me that index play is simplified and standardized for the masses. Those “fountain pens” - I mean graduates who aspire to greater skill levels will likely push themselves to more astute heights of reason.
Now, for the meaning of ‘Fountain pens” in context, can anyone determine its origin? Delightful trivia.
