Yeah I think both go a long way. It's not hard to be friendly, I think that does help a lot.
I used to tip too much...but now I keep it under control.
I think both are enhanced by pretending to be a drinker...be friendly and engaged with other players. As opposed to your typical counter, thanks.
Playing rated, yes I agree with that. In my local joint it would be more detrimental than not because it would be weird for people not to take the comps. It’s a thing buddy.
As for the rest of your comment, my advice is bad as opposed to what? I didn’t make any betting advise in my comment, just to know what is a big win with a betting unit representation.
You rathole 2 hours of EV every hour? You can't really be serious about that? Lol
And are you sure that playing rated is less detrimental in the long run?
How long have you been playing, truthfully? And yes, giving up your identity for a few free buffets that are worth nothing is definitely a thing buddy.

Yes I do rathole 2 hours of EV every hour in my local joint, been doing it for long.
No I didn’t say playing rated is less detrimental in the long run. I mean a lot of local casino joints will back you off faster if you don’t play rated and bet big, because everybody is after the comps. Surveillance will immediately target you. I’ll admit I fell into the EV help for red chips in my early days and lost a Vegas chain and TI, but this helped me to feel comfortable early on. Now I don’t play rated where I can get away with it like Vegas.
What I’m saying is if you play rated you must rathole, a winning record will make the back off happen for sure.
Ignoring your lame attack now that I have explained why playing rated has earned me longevity in my local joint, I have 1800 hours in a span of 3 years across 3 countries. I’ve only been backed off 3 times, and all 3 instances were at Vegas.
