Drinking
I think this helps paint you as a "loser", especially early in the day lol. I go to the bar, order a shot and a coke...pretend to drink most of the shot...but really pour most of it back into the coke not being seen.
Smoking
I don't smoke, but the casinos think I do. I pretend to smoke as much as many ploppies do. And when asked, I always say I will step away from the table so that my smoke doesn't bother anyone. It's funny how my smoke breaks are almost always when the count is tanking.
Any other's thoughts are welcome on this topic, thanks.
These are worthless unless you plan on being drunk every visit.
You develop a game with betting structures that represent a "gambler" while maintaining an advantage and you also play short (<60 minutes) sessions. You may need to give up some EV in order to protect the longevity, otherwise you are at risk and unless you get very bad variance, the tap is coming.
Don't tombstone and give them ~10 shoes to correlate with the count.
Generally, you will be "defined" early in your visits to the local casino and then can play more freely if you are determined to be "no threat". Even so, short sessions will be important.
Luck is nothing more than probability taken personally!
