If anyone is reading this thread and thinking of trying Frieghtman’s approach, read Blackbelt in Blackjack first. Snyder has lots of good stuff on opposition betting and the like.

This is a mild mild form of it. I do a lot of that to mask spread on a higher min game. Dr. Reid’s book has some great stuff in it. However, hidden kinda sorta in Snyders book are the gem of descriptions that got me started in that direction.

I’m enjoying a hot chocolate at Starbucks, and May be inclined to look up the pages when I get home.

Black belt in a Blackjack - Opposition Betting - starts at page 199 - generally a shoe strategy, not really practical (though some may have some form of gambit) for double deck, primarily a shoe strategy. Again, they’re many forms if it.
