i didn't watch this video yet but i know you've long posted about ASM cheating/clumping, and i no longer doubt you. i've been playing online at a reputable casino's live dealer games for about 17 hours now, and in about 90% of shoes, the count goes high, from TC 1.5 to over 3, and mostly doesn't come down. This is on an 8 deck game (with about 45% pen). i'm not a math guy but i know the odds of this must be astronomical if not for ASM cheating.
i'm now a believer.
Edit: watched beginning of video; want my three seconds back.
yeah that's the only kind of defense possible. this is not a losing streak though; i don't think it's the same thing. im in the middle of a long losing streak myself. i'm fine with it and know it's normal.
i should also note that the few times the count went negative, it went VERY negative, again leading me to believe in clumping.
also, dealer cuts cards down the middle every time (since players are not physically at the table). this would make cheating 100% effective.
Thanks for your support. First, don't watch the video. It is just a joke. You will not learn anything about Beast Mode/ASM clumping from the video. Instead, you can read the following article.
http://www.borisbj21.com/Page8/page8a.html
The author listed 10 signs that the shoe is clumped by ASM. The last two are the easiest to use. If the cards are truly randomly shuffled, players should have 4.8% of the chance getting BJ. For a fast dealer who deal 100 hands per hour, you should get 5 BJ. So if you play 3 hour session, you should get 15 BJ. In author's clump experiment, the player only get BJ 3.33% of the time. So he or she only get 10 BJ in three hours. The last one is the most telling. In a truly randomized game, both dealer and player get BJ occurs only once in 441 hands. In Beast mode, it happens only once in 20 hands. Combined #9 and #10, in hand shuffled games, your BJ will push to dealer BJ once for every 80 hours. But in Beast Mode ASM, your BJ pushing to dealer's BJ will happen once for every 7 hours.
You can count BJ pushing BJ in a longer period of time to decide if the suspected casino is running ASM in Beast Mode. Or just act like me. Play only hand-shuffled games. Only go to ASM table for research only and prepare to lose.
Well, they're having the leaderboard contest again, and guess what? Same thing! An incredibly high number of high counts - and it rarely falls. This time I'm going all in to win a leaderboard prize, so I will continue playing despite my clumping concerns. Anyone have a strategy for playing against a suspected clumping ASM? I think someone said to play 21+3 side bet, which makes sense. And I've actually seen it hit a lot in these games.
Assuming face cards are clumped together, it doesn't make sense to double on 11, 10 and 9 because you can't get a face card. For the same reason, you split 2-7 pairs against 2-7 in hope to get the double opportunity, since your chance of getting a face card is lowered by clumping, you don't want to split these pairs, too. I think soft double is OK. One more thing 12-14 against up card 2-6, if most of the cards on the table are low card, you may want to hit instead of stand. These are the modifiction I used when I played ASM. Also I change my bet ramp. If I am in a losing streak, I lower my bets. After the net loss reached six hands, I will not place a big bet on that shoe. Like lowering my spread from 18 to 1 to 4 to 1.
I also witnessed an extreme AP who splits every face card pairs because he believes in face card clumping. Only seen him twice. The first time there were only three people at the table. Many times he splits face cards to three hands and get 20 for all three hands. Of course, he left tables a big winner. By the way, everybody else at the table was a loser, so they hate him. I am not. Because I know why he was doing it. The second time it was a full table. You can see the face card clump pattern, but when he split, the shoe has run out of faces most of the times. He was a loser that day. So I really don't recommend people doing this since it is 50/50. That being said, the safest way to play is to find the hand-shuffled game. I only spend 10% of my time playing ASM BJ. But it is all for research purpose only. I expect to lose money or flat.
