Do you know which casino chain such as Stations, CEC etc do or do not share data base of AP/counter? Thanks
Rather than simply guessing: Assume that all casinos, from mom-and-pop outfits in the boonies to mega-casinos in Vegas, subscribe to a database company (OSN, Biometrica, SIN, Griffin) and that they share with *everyone* in the area.
Better to be careful in *all* situations than generally assume the lesser of all cases.
I have been on OSN and it has not affected me in Las Vegas too much, whether playing rated or unrated. I get comps and I play, both rated and unrated. Only one casino nof one chain backs me off but I walk over and play at its sister casino and have no problems. Maybe its because I mostly play low greens (DD) and red to low greens (6D). Maybe they ignore those who were put in OSN by some small casino far away.
CBJN often says if a casino is a data base participant, and if they are quick to back off.

This isn't info that is often publicly shared. Some casinos use OSN, some use Biometrica, others have their own internal system.
Assuming all is good advice. What is the worst that could happen? You'd have longevity.
You can safely assume all of one Brand/Chain shares info. Don't believe me? There's a thread right now talking about being 86'd from an entire chain. In other areas they flyer throughout the area.
If you've been BO'd somewhere, don't go back for a while. That could be anywhere from a few months to a few years.
Bad advice. Assuming they all share info means we should all be out of business after the first back off. In a casino "group", they mostly share info. Some will do it with close neighbor of the same chain, some will do it on a larger scale. Some casinos are Bio, OSN, etc. some others do not participate at all in these stupidities and share nothing at all. Advising a player to "assume" all casinos are sharing info is a bad advice. You probably read a lot of books but don't spend enough time playing the game at high level. The advice you should give to a player is: in a casino "always assume" they are watching you! This will err on the conservative side and may keep you out of some barrings and add to your longevity.

The original question was which Casino Chains share. I stand by my advice to assume that they all share amongst themselves. If you are backed off at a TR property I think it would be smart do not play rated at the next TR property. Ditto for
Yes I have read a lot of books. But yes I do play a lot and I play at a level that generally attracts attention. I'm not a book smart street dumb AP....
I know little about these databases, but certainly understand what all
Of you are saying.... I am wondering if the only folks entered into them are folks that play for larger amounts of money or if somebody thought to be counting at very low levels could find himself entered into one?
RCJH, I want to remind you my first answer to this thread was to dogman_1234 who said:"Rather than simply guessing: Assume that all casinos, from mom-and-pop outfits in the boonies to mega-casinos in Vegas, subscribe to a database company (OSN, Biometrica, SIN, Griffin) and that they share with *everyone* in the area."Sorry for being a little rude :-)
