Maybe if I go in the morning?) so Lakeside Inn looks like my best bet. Im a $10 player atm, wanted to know how sweaty the place is and if I can get away with a 1:12 spread there. White rabbit style,

Tahoe is not a great place for BJ but Reno is not too far away. The spread is okay if you are aware of the pit because going back and forth from one hand to two in the manner you plan while pit is watching could lead to trouble. Its probably better if you just went to $30 or $40 on one hand and just play one hand all the time. I play two hands, starting at 2 x 10 off the top and keeping to 2 hands in all positive counts. If count goes negative, I play just one hand. However, if I drop to one hand, then I continue playing one hand. Sometimes, surveillance will also note your going from one to two hands.
I was recently flat betted, though not in Tahoe, when I was blatantly following the very spread you mentioned because the casino was crowded, the pit was not paying any attention. I was shocked when I got a tap on my shoulder by a suit with another one along. He asked me to step away from table and then told me that I could only play the bet amount I started the shoe with and play only one hand. I never thought surveillance be following a $10 dollar 6 deck table in a casino with lots of folks in the HL area playing $50 and $100 min. and a main floor with a half dozen $25 min. DD games and another 6 6 deck tables. They did.
