Zee, please stop being results oriented. It is costing you lots of EV.
21forme, take a look again at my original post. 85% of it is simply a report and about 15% is my admission that I screwed up. So, basically, you are asking me not to share my mistakes. You apparently dont have any problems with the 85%, just the 15% personal stuff about my mistakes (that I am aware of). For this, I am being attacked. If newbie/wannabe's and others find it bothers them to hear of my mistakes, I will keep it in mind and avoid mentioning anything personal.
I dont think Norm wants people attacking other posters. If it bothers you, skip my threads. It does seem that no matter what I post, it ends up being a long thread.
No matter what anyone posts, it winds up a long thread.
Actually, posting good games is problematic, too. Casinos read these forums and there have been many documented cases of conditions changing following posting of specific info. This is what networking is for.
Excellent point ummagumma! I could NOT spot any ploppy voodoo in Zee’s post either. All I saw is that he lost some money after a long trip and ended it early. What’s voodoo about that? Zee never said quiting early would have any long term impact on his winnings. He never talked about “stop loses”, a voodoo concept. He just said he quite early.
I sometimes think some APs, specifically 21forme and RCJH, need to take a reading comprehesion course. They continue to attack Zee for giving advice when he doesn’t do that. All he does is give a report on his trip and 21forme and RCJH go into attack mode, accussing Zee of doing something he has NOT done.
Zee is my hero for being able to take on all these goofballs.
Perhaps ploppy voodoo was the wrong term. Call it irrational, emotional play, instead, which is the downfall of an AP.
Game conditions, particularly good ones, are sometimes not reflected in CBJN. BTW, I have been a CBJN reporter for many years.
P.S. Mr. Wong hasn't owned CBJN for a couple of years. It's owned by an Australian guy who owns online casinos and gambling-related web sites.

Good point. I had forgot about that line. Those two sentences were pretty funny.
But the bigger point is Zee has NOT given any advice in his post. Why do APs keep calling him out for giving advice when he’s not doing that? All he does is report on his trip, and he even adds commentary that he probably did things wrong. What’s wrong with that?
Way too much Zee bashing in this forum. He chooses to share his trip story for those interested; those not interested are free to ignore it. Yes, his lack of emotional control is costing him EV, but he owns that handicap and certainly doesn't condone that behavior. I read it as a cautionary tale, not as advice. He also reports playing some games that I'd avoid (4/6 shoes, 1/2 double decks) unless I could employ a huge spread. Now if he were advising others to seek out those games, that would be one thing. But he's not. I'd rather see more good BJ info and less judging of Zee.
Hoping the thread is still open as I hit post...
