The ASM for single deck carnival games like three card poker can actually sort cards. After the table closes we switch it to sorting mode and have it sort the cards in order from A-K to be packaged and hole punched and given to customers. Also when a straight flush is hit, the manager will go to the machine to check if it was actually dealt. Now, back to blackjack ASM. As far as i know, it cannot sort cards, as we always have to do it by ourselves when the table closes. But it is able to read them. So that already is evidence to show that it could be possible..

This happened more than six months ago. So the casino should not have the tape recording pointing back to me. So I have this pit boss come to my table, ranting/telling the dealer, "Some idiot set the table side bet to PLUS THREE. No wonder it is losing money." He worked on the machine for quite a few minutes. Obviously he did not do this often. Not resetting it by unplugging the machine but just return to the root menu, then select the correct side bet to Luck Lady so the shuffler will generate the sequence suitable for LL and not paying too much to the customers. If the casino can do this to the side bet, imagine what they can do to the main game Blackjack.
