A benefit of this change is that the dealers for the most part deal down now to one deck at the 8D tables. I have observed this at number of times on recent trips. After the change in the rules, the penetration was inconsistent. Some dealers were still cutting off two decks. So, I have to admit, since I am not a fan of Mohegan, that the 8D, H17, 3:2 game is equally as good as Foxwoods. Foxwoods has a slight advantage in my opinion since every table has these rules except in the HL room. So, there are more tables to choose from whereas Mohegan has fewer and, it seems, fewer of these tables available. For example in the earth casino they have nudged out the 3:2 tables with more roulette and Spanish 21.
