I find a lot of people suggest to never play rated to increase longevity, but when you grow bigger, start to bet two hands of $800, it's inevitable that the floor person will offer you player's card. In this case what would you respond to look not suspicious?
There's a lot you can say:
1) My wife doesn’t approve of my gambling. A free buffet isn’t worth the fight with my wife.
2) I had an issue with identity theft in the past and it really screwed up my credit. I don’t want to sign up for anything.
3) I’m not from here and won’t be able to use the comps. I’m just passing through.
4) The last time I signed up for something, the junk mail never ended.
5) I live with my parents and if they find out I’m gambling, they’ll make me move out of the house (this might only work if you look in your early to late 20s lol).
Etc., etc.
See? It’s not that hard.
