Betting size affecting decision making

Has anyone notice the betting size in playing blackjack would affect one's decision making? The bigger the bet, the more likely I would made irrational mistake, violate the basic strategy, lost control, etc......(That maybe the reason why the casino welcome the high roller). I would like to hear from the AP that how to overcome that.

The key word here is irrational, that means you must use a base unit that you feel comfortable with to the extent you do not make -ev plays because you are playing the money and not the cards. Play within your bank and also you comfort zone, to do otherwise is foolish and dangerous, to your EV and emotions.
