Blackjack games in just about every Western European Country are not playable.
As for London, I haven’t been there since August 2015, when I was there, I actually was very impressed with the array of games they had. Do remember though that the casinos, especially in London, are “private clubs” who when you sign up I believe say in the T&C’s that counting is against their rules. So AFAIK, they have the right to just say “you were counting cards and violated our terms. We’re not paying you.” However this sort of mentality was not my experience when I was there, albeit for a very very short period of time (about four days). I went to Napoleon in Leiscester Square when they use to have 4D shoes (I believe it’s all CSM now) and won 3,000£ in about 30 min going from min to 2x max, and was paid out fine.
In the subsequent days that I did go back to play, and still played the same MO, I was just half shoed a lot of the time. They never hassled me.
If you want to email me, I have a list of places throughout London you could check out, and in exchange, you could give me updates on the conditions of the casinos.
[email protected]. I also have always suspected that outside of London, especially up north, if you’re not too greedy, there are probably some very good opportunities because a lot of those casinos probably do not get enough action to justify the cost of a CSM. At one point in time I had debated traveling, and being based out of Newcastle because I have several friends there, and playing around that area. But I never got around to doing it.
But again, even slightly up north, or outside of London, I always suspected there are opportunities since there is really no disposable income in the UK. And really what pro wants to be based out of a small, gray, depressed weather area with nothing to do? So I would suspect they likely don’t see many green chip players, and would probably be hesitant to back one off going 1-8 or 1-6, depending on your count and your skills. This of course is still just a theory, and we have the T&C’s problem as I mentioned above.
