Can't recall specifically anymore, but I think the coach intimated that the players themselves were in danger, and he definitely lied to them about the amount he owed the mobsters - coaches intent to pay off the mobsters, and steal the players remaining Bank.

Players casino options were also very limited, since they had been "made" and flyered everywhere.
