You may also take insurance if ONLY have one or less T card out of your 6 cards(initial 2 cards from each hand) !
you start with 16 tens and 36 non tens.
so if you have 1 ten and 5 non tens that is a ration of 15 tens and 31 non tens. then there is the ace of course, so it would be a ratio of 15:30 and there would be no edge on the insurance bet. in that situation i would take it in part, if i had good hands, in full if i had great hands, and not at all with weak hands.

For online wagering requirement play, I was told that player should sometime deviate from the basic strategy . . . .
I guess the reason is :-
Assume HE = 0.36%, for a particular hand :-
HIT ----- ev = -0.21%
Double ------ev = -0.45%
I think we should Double instead of HIT,
a)If you Double, your wager increase 2 units and loss 0.0045 unit for TOTAL WAGER = 2 UNITS
b)If you HIT, your wagering increase 1 unit and losing 0.0021 unit , and in next round you bet another hand(wager increase another 1 unit), you will loss 0.0036 unit(House edge), total loss = 0.0021 + 0.0036 =0.0057 units for TOTAL WAGER = 2 UNITS
So DOUBLE is better than HIT, am I missing something ? Please advise.
