I prefer good rules, as they permit me to spread (my bets) "politely."
Also, I virtually disdain the super-deep penetration that invites variance.
My biggest financial disasters (losses) have mostly come in shoe games
with good to excellent rules, heads-up, dealt in the 95-98% range.
I have played games with a very low House Edge that I have done surprisingly
well at with a 3-1 spread (DD) and 6-1 (six decks). Playing light black these
games have 'earned' me roughly two (2) units per hr. and lovely high comps.
