A person capable of playing V.P. at his level, with an accounting background, etc.
would be looking for advantage at BJ; but his high level of play DOWNTOWN would
never be permitted at the sweaty downtown casinos if he was a card counter. I did
read elsewhere where one (unidentified) casino had 86'd him, but it failed to note
why.
Well, maybe. If he was playing $100 9/6 JOB then doing 1,000,000 a day in "coin in" is not beyond possible (likely about 8-10 hours@$500 pull). His EV would be about -$5000 with a huge variance.
His free play would have been very large and it is not unbelievable that he outran his negative EV with these. Winning a million or more in several consecutive years seems very unlikely.
It would not surprise me to learn that he"gambled" a lot and lost a lot and it became a contributing factor to the event, much more likely.
