Seriously, you need to give your head a shake. Espousing faulty comments, which sound like there is some intelligence behind the faulty logic, is a disservice to those who think you know what you're talking about.
Now, if you want to espouse hi lo as a system that will get the money, no problem with that.
This is simply not true. For betting purposes Halves out performs Hi-Lo. In order to be completely accurate, a system must be based on the effect that removing a card of any value will have on the player’s advantage in the remaining deck. Halves comes very close to doing this.
Here is table showing effect of removal of each card. You can't look at just the value of Ace and Ten. The 5 card really hurts the player so Halves count values this card more.

Now Hi-Lo might be the best system due to ease of use and other factors, but it isn't the best for betting purposes. Freightman was right in saying you have to qualify your asseration.
