    best excuses for playing unrated?

    constantly get asked by supervisors and dealers to play rated, selling me their promises of comps and rewards. getting tired of longwinded excuses
    what's the best way around this?

    I don't need comps. I can afford to pay for anything I need. I come here to do a little gambling ,relax and get my mind off my job for a few hours or days.

    Last time I gave out my name and address I promptly won the Nigerian Lottery three weeks in a row and they wanted 49 grand bribe each week to release the funds. I don't trust ANYONE with those details. In fact, I don't even trust myself...

    Casual conversation with pit crew indicates that most, or at least many, have thoroughly messed up personal lives. This is not a reason any of them will argue with.

    EDIT: Also, love Richard's suggestions re divorce and tax audit. They would do me very little good at present but for somebody older those would carry some serious weight.
