I get crap from ploppies for doubling A7 v 6.

If you call wonging into a shoe while minding your own business as instigating a argument then I am periodically guilty. I know how to low key the situation, mostly by ignoring. When you said the line "I get crap from ploppies for doubling A7 v 6." you put it all in perspective without a real understanding. No one can please a ploppy, just sitting at the same table with a plop you are fair game. By you showing courtesy, or whatever makes no bit of difference you just doubled A7 vs a 6. You said you would like putting on an illusion "keeping the flow of the cards' in their pristine order."of being an idiot, well having a better understanding of their mind set is a good start. A ploppy never, never ever takes responsibility for their own losses, and needs anyone and everyone else around them to lay the blame on, because it surely could never EVER possibly be their own fault.

Go ahead and blend in. You can start "of course I am not being funny" by telling the idiot next to you that you do not double A7 vs a 6 up, but two hands latter you double A8 vs a 6 up then as you say " the casino has no clue I am taking them to the cleaners.". Trying to please a ploppy is the real fucking joke, and if there was no threat of being suspended you would get my true feelings on the matter.

I know one thing how the hell can someone emulate a completely irrational person ? Which is how I describe a ploppy.

I copy them. I make a note of the most nonsensical stuff ploppies say. The drivel that requires self control not to correct is the best.

That is all fine and dandy. Just as long as you understand that this maniac can turn on a dime without warning, into a beast with teeth grinding. Always be leery, and try not to go out of your way and pretend to be their friend or as Moses would say teammate as it can often backfire quickly.

Treating them like dogs is -EV for me. Even when they cost me EV.

I have learned that trying to please a ploppy is both a waste of time, and negative EV. Example: When I play, it is often at a NMET and I am allowed to change from one hand to two and back without any restrictions. I like to wait until the TC warrants larger bets and I jump to two spots possibly upsetting the other one or two players who were playing at the table. I will avoid playing with a much higher level of player because I realize that I do not want to upset him or her! I cannot count the number of times that after I spread to two hands with two nice healthy mid size bets, that I suddenly have almost two remaining decks yet to be played all to myself. Do I care about the two ladies who had a hundred dollars in each circle no way, I do not even give it a second thought. Why should I ? My session is going to be over in a few minutes anyway. Can I help it that two strangers believe so strongly in the flow of the cards that they will quit the shoe, no I cannot. Is that considered treating them like dogs? You decide, I know this much it is not - EV. What do you think?

I hit 12v4 and cleared a table. I'll do that all day long to play heads up. Cleaned up that session.
