I asked this question in another thread but would like to hear more opinions. Game selection is very important for a counter.

Yes. Any higher and I would be backed off by now. Plus I can make more with that top bet than most can make with a higher one. I am a longevity player. I have been told by some pros that have played the same stores I play that my top bet is too large. I think it is the Goldielocks top bet.

He mentioned 6 figure bankroll, and an RoR of 0.01%. His max bet being $500 pretty much backs up all of the mathematics there that you are questioning.
Precisely, Fenix. I often play at places that have $200-$300 table maxes, though my max bet for my game is $250, sometimes I have to alter that to fly under the radar so I'm not generating a constant "table max" call.
There's still a lot of decent places to play out there, all things considered. I personally like that Tupelo area though
