When playing rated and in a local casino, a few departure midshoe on a positive count removes heat for a very very long time. Most do not understand that its part of the act when establishing yourself as a rated ploppy on a players card. I am far up on a few places as a rated player in the local casino of a big chain and regularly play DD with a minimum $25 bet and a maximum 2 x $150 bet spread, still get comped rooms and meals. There is a whole bag of tricks to play rated, reduce heat significantly and confuse the casino. Most dont underatand it because they have bought into the playing unrated stuff from a long time ago, have not played rated in years.
