The two year long awaited ban/bar/tap finally occurred last night at my favorite store and now I'm planning on visiting Las Vegas since my last trip from 1-2 years ago. Perhaps I've been spoiled, but at my favorite store I got away with a $10 to 2 x $300 (sometimes $400 w/o heat) on a 7.25/8 deck PEN . From my experience in the LV from past trips, shoes are mostly 6 deck with 2 deck cut offs. I am aware I'll never find any PEN in the world as good as my favorite store (perhaps one day - but unlikely). Anyways, what I want to ask is -
If I just walk the strip entering every casino and playing most acceptable 4.5 / 6 deck shoes, playing a 1 shoe 1 max bet cycle and leaving at any negative count, betting table min of $10,15,25 to 2 x $300 - no player card or ID - can I get away with this for a week trip from your experience? Basically on an average, would this type of betting structure and game plan be effective. Or perhaps can I bet table min, once the count rises to let's say TC-5, I bet 1/2 of the table max for whatever it is, 2 x $1000 and just walk away immediately afterwards. This is assuming no ID or card was shown before hand. And I dont cash the chips till a later date.
I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to these things. My last trip, I went $15 or $25 on a DD at NYNY and ended up betting something like 2 x $900 on it. As mentioned previously in another thread, the kick came quite fast (or slow apparently since 20-30 minutes was long considering what I was doing).
I used to just drive, walk in, tomb stone for a 2-3.5 hour session and walk out with massive EV generated. Now I'm lost.
