My 9 th trip, I was up just $750 when I went to sleep after a 12 hour roller coaster day, was too hyped up to sleep, decided that I should book a win for my psyche and drove home. Thus, after some 110 hours f play, I am up just about $800. Take away expenses (mostly gas and eats), I am about even. This game is tough but it revealed the personal weaknesses it is ezposed.
for this style of trip play, I have to become more disciplined. After leaving at 7:00 a.m., driving 4 hours, I seem to forget the rest an old man needs. I check into my comped room, throw the bag on the bed and head to the tables, play one session after another in different pits or different casinos nearby till midnight, return exhausted to my room, have difficulty sleeping, sleep 2-3 hours, go back down to the tables, get sleepy return for anther short nap and play again till I leave. I average 12 hours a day for the 1-2,days and return. I guess I need to get more rest, more quality time at quality games, not play when tired as I am making mistakes. Not counting mistakes but more on betting amounts, TC calculations, adjusting to others at the table and such.
my 10th 2-3 day trip starts Sunday. Hope I can stick to a plan and restrain from playing too many hours and settling my mind after a roller coaster ride so I can sleep. I need to sleep better between sessions.
