What would be penalty for using red 7 principle in FELT ?
You want to keep your as level 1 . You will get a lot of error in estimated your edge. I had the same thought last year or so but I doubt it is effective( high standard error ). Instead I just learn for the FELT count. Read a few more good books , they tell you more about how each system works ,pros and cons.
According to Gramezeka, who seems to be a great player, this system EBJ 2 is better :
Count 2 for 2 to 6 and tens and aces, 1 for seven and 9, o for 8.

Slightly more difficult because 5 value (-2 -1 0 1 2) contrary to RPC with 4 value ( -2 0 1 2). So between RPC and halves (6 values -2 -1 0 1 2 3) for the difficulty, and efficacity.
If true, its just amazing nobody talks about this system.
According to Ried's book, for a standard 6-deck game (PA rules, 5/6 pen, 1-10 spread, using I18 and Fab 4 indexes), EBJII had a SCORE of 51.67.
Per BJA3 (table on page 172), the same game using other counts had the following SCOREs:
Hi-Lo 47.26, UBZ2 50.98, Zen 51.55, RPC 50.93, AOII 54.61, Hi-OptII 55.96, Halves 54.08, RAPC 54.59
