While American mass-produced beer is poor,

we have many thousands of micro-breweries.

I like European Beers. End of discussion.

If Trump somehow wins the big one - dare I say - the finest boobs ever to grace the White House will be evident for all to admire.

As for heat I have only experienced it once. I had a pit boss she followed me from table to table and stood behind me. Don't even bother going to Windsor to gamble.

Any recommendations as to hotels which provide easy access to Greektown and MGM. I do have a backoff on my card at MGM, so I presume I should be okay unrated up to a certain limit.

GreekTown OR Motor City is in a very dicey neighborhood. Spring for a room at the MGM store.

GT and MGM are less then a mile apart. How long do you plan on staying? What's your budget? Downtown area is safe at least by my standards. There are lots of restaurant's and bars. Dan Gilbert is rebuilding downtown with Mike Illich.

This is on the river about a quarter of a mile from GT. You can take the people mover for 50 cents. If you are going to MGM you would have to take a cab from there. Less then $10.

This one is right in the middle of GT and MGM. It is walk able in the day but I would not at night.

This hotel is in GT right across from the casino

Also the casino has a hotel here is the link. I have never stayed at the casino hotel.

Greek Town is okay. Motor City bring your gun. No games worth while there.

I'm confused. Most foreigners are from Asia, so how do you know so much about French royalty? Are you in the Yakuza?

I'm a history buff - also a proud resident residing north of the 49th parallel.i likely know more about American History and geography than most US citizens.

As for French Royalty, I wonder if the guy who pulled the handle received severance pay.

After these inspiring descriptions, perhaps I should reconsider my modus operandi. Safety is a primary concern.

Our sheltered Canadian lifestyle, especially here in the west, makes us used to far lower crime stats.
