Sorry if I caused confusion - I meant to say cashing out chips from OTHER casinos has become more difficult.
None of the below

I'm aware some chips have RFID but I do not know why that would mean I have to cash them same day. Care to elaborate?
In my experience the majority of the tracking is done by the floors and also the cage if you're cashing out a large amount(varies by place) or $500+ chips.
There is no "why". Casinos just want to make AP's life miserable. By the way, you can still stack black chips. Only purple chips need to be redeemed immediately. When I got purple chips, the pit boos always told me I have to go to cage immediately or at least on the same day.
Or else? Is your experience is limited to one place?
Not trying to be argumentative but I have never had a problem cashing them out days later and have done it multiple times. Even with 1000's. Multiple places in Vegas.
If nothing else, go check it down on a bac table or some other game and take black to the cage.
Agree. On my last trip to Vegas, I waited 3 or 4 days to cash out a yellow chip ($1,000 chip for those who don't know) and I had no problems. I cashed one out at the cage and broke another one down at the Craps table on the same night I received them. I had another store pay me one yellow and I waited till the following morning to cash it. I was never asked for ID in either situation.

I think it might be beneficial to include a warning, when it comes to iffy legal stuff. Sure, you might legally be able to go to a CET property in another state, but that doesn't mean if they catch you they'll necessarily be nice to you and simply ask you to leave. Many APs don't want to face the legal issues that may come about from "pushing the limits".
It would be like saying "It's perfectly 100% legal to walk down the street with a shotgun. You don't legally have to answer any questions or show ID to police if they ask you questions & blah blah blah.. Etc etc..." Without including a warning, "but if you do that, there's a good chance you'll end up arrested and in jail, especially if you don't answer questions or show ID to police."

So I've got an interesting one to add...
I had a shift manager attempt to back me off and ban me from a casino in a jurisdiction that CANNOT back off or bar card counters!
This all went down AFTER I lost about 5K in one shoe. Got up and started to play in a different pit. After the phone calls started coming and based on the pit's mannerisms, I knew the jig was up, so I exited on a negative count mid-shoe. As I'm leaving, the PC addresses me by name and tells me to leave and don't return. I laughed and told this person that they can't do that. I told the PC that we're in MO and it's written into the gaming commission's laws. I offered to call gaming if they like and we could verify. They had no response to my rebuttal...
