Apologies Don, the question on the site more/less in the spirit of fun asks the users to try to answer without looking up anything else or using any calculators/computers. Thus, I was just giving my initial off the top of my head feedback with no real calculations put in to place.

Don, I haven't found your post yet. I figured out how to do the problem by hand quickly but had no desire to grind out the numbers. As you know the cool thing about math is that you can use a bunch of different methods to get the same answer. Some may be simple and elegant while others may be complicated. I am interested in what you said and your approach. Perhaps cut and paste to this site or a link to your post. I couldn't find your post with a search or with your link's you provided.

Patiently, I explain: I did NOT furnish a personal solution to the problem. Rather, I told Doghand that his reply, using discrete points, was too simplistic and not likely to be correct. I then researched the problem and found two sites that provided detailed analyses with the correct answer.

Sorry Don. Sometimes I am a little slow on the uptake. Thank you for finally getting me to understand what you tried to say and I couldn't comprehend.
