Most of the stuff in the book has NOT been stolen by Jacobsen.
I made one MINOR play off of CAA that would easily pay for the book. Literally, the opportunity is so stupidly uncommon and...weird that I doubt most pros would even be scouting for it. But I made about $5000 just off of spotting one game at one casino.
For a pro, the mathematic analysis of these games, alone, would easily be worth several times the asking price. The book is not out of date, at all. It remains the best book I have ever seen in our whole discipline, and it's not close.
