    2. Eagles -5.5 over Buccaneers

    1-2 last week. 17-13 for the year.

    CAR -6.5 vs Was - Don't want to understimate Was, but Car is solidly better than the Deadskins.
    Oak -1 vs DET - Oak is a decent team, ran into a bit of a busszaw in Minnesota. Also Det punched above their weight vs div. rival GB.
    Cin +4.5 vs ARI - Seems like a -3 home field advantage type of game for me, Cincy got caught up in a trap game last week.
    Timidity is dangerous: Better to enter with boldness. Any mistakes you commit through audacity are easily corrected with more audacity.

    The CHIEFS visit San Diego this afternoon having won and ats their preivous 3 games while outscoring opponents 97-36....expect this to continue...take KANSAS CITY -3 for this week's play.

    The Detroit LIONS host the Philadelphia EAGLES in today’s first Turkeybowl and find themselves the surprising favorite (to us at least) having won their previous two games by a combines score of 36-29 – yes, that would be 2 game totals, which has been Detroit’s problem all year - their inability to score points having only scored over 20 points once (37 vs Bears, wk #6) since putting up 28 in their opener against hapless SD….the EAGLES enter having lost the previous two games and the Philly fans are ready to carve up 3rd year coach Chippy Kelly…whoa filly’s…lol…not so fast…sans the past two weeks, they have put up 20+ in 6 of 8 games….the LIONS not only can’t score, they can’t run the ball, either, as the league’s worst rushing attack – some 10+ yards worse than the 30th ranked team….in their match up two years ago, Chip’s inaugural season, Eagles ran 46 times for 299 yards against what was a much better line then today’s Lions….we are taking the better coach (consecutive 10-6 marks before this year) with better personnel, better scheme and WAY, WAY more to play for…consider any points to be a bonus here….run Filly’s, run and score to boot and often…..take the EAGLES +3 for an EZ win.

    There are lots of books to choose from, both brick and mortar and online. The lines differ. Why should he pick a poorer line to bet? The current Vegas lie is Eagles +2.5 but +3 can be found in Vegas, Westgate Superbook. It looks like more online books have the line at Eagles +3 but many have +2.5.

    2-1 last week, 19-14 for the year.

    nyg -2 vs WAS - Giants are getting a bit healthier after a bye, and usually have Washington's number.
    HOU -3 vs no - Houston is surging a bit, and NO is going in the wrong direction.
    Mia +4.5 vs NYJ - Can't really say NYJ is a better team than Miami.

    How is Gronk? Is his knee okay? You could tell Brady was thinking, 'Oh crap there goes Gronk again. Now I will just be a so so QB again.' The Sunday Night and Monday Night games were great. You knew the Pats would lose steam in the second half from the thin air but I think the Gronk injury decided the game.
