If you have "positive" true count without seeing many 4's and 5's the house still probably has the edge.

Conversely if you have seen an abundance of 4's and 5's played and you think that your True Count is

slightly positive -- you are (most likely) severely under-betting, "leaving money on the table" as we say.
Pretty much sums it up for level 1 ,especially for pitch. On the other hand , 6 deck shoe with average pen do not have such a big problem with this. it does not high chance of imbalance depletion of A's vs x , 4,s ,5s vs 2,3,6. i have play a long side 2 different known players ,one use Zen ,another uses halves and we bet into the mid to high tc quite different at times. i would say i saw about 3-5%(maybe even 7-8% of the times that we bet differently. By playing faster and error free with a healthy bank along with good condition ,I would not worry too much if i am using level 1 or level 2,3 counting system.

Pros pass this information only to the closest friends. This is the only way to play BJ with low variance and high P/E. I estimate there are less than 200 people in the world mastering this arts. They are the only true threat to the casinos IMO. Even people mastering with AO2 or Zen can lose big money in their lifetime due to the huge inherited variance from the game itself.

Pro = Hi-Opt II with ASC
AP = Hi-Opt II, AO2 or Zen players
    amateur AP = Hi-Lo or Hi-Opt I player
ploppy = Basic Strategy BJ player.
Could a Hi-lo counter label themselves as professional card counters? Since you said Hi-lo counters are amateur APs.

BjGenius, you should probably stop munching on those Jimson Weed seeds
