    I don't know why some people lose all of their manners when they enter a casino. It is beyond my imagination.

    Too general a statement. Some may be entering the casino after the end of a party, a bit high or drunk, and the casino is the only place open at that time. Another may have lost or backed off at one casino, entering another.

    If the dollar amount of the wager bothers you to the point of losing count quit counting your money on the wager and count the number of chips as units. Also get your chips ready for a double down or split directly after placing your bet so you don't have to fumble with it and get frustrated when they fall out of your fingers etc... it works for me.
